"In March of 2022 I went to a screening of Holy Frit, a documentary about the making of the world’s largest stain glass window. I found the documentary captivating and felt a kindship with the stain glass artist Tim Carey.

I left that night with a vision of working with Tim on a guitar project. A few weeks later after meeting with Tim and his associate Justin, we decided to move forward with the project. Tim created a beautiful fused glass arched guitar top with an image of a Falcon in flight and the New York skyline as seen from Brooklyn, the original home of Gretsch Guitars.

Collaborating with Tim was a joy and we worked very well together. What we created turned out to be an amazing piece of functioning art as well as the last show/art guitar that I made before retiring in 2023."
