Several years ago, Kevin checked his voicemail and Buzz had left him a message.  Kevin was so sure that someone was messing with him that he drove over to his buddy Alex’s place and had him listen to the message.  Sure enough, one of Kevin’s favorite guitar players of all time was calling about having an instrument made. They spoke the next day and Buzz said he was interested in a 24.75 inch scale guitar with 498Tand 490R pickups.  The King Buzzo Standard was born.

This current evolution of the King Buzzo Standard features an EGC low output humbucker in the neck and an EGC full output humbucker in the bridge position with an independent volume and tone knob for each pickup.  The toggle is on the upper horn and oriented side-to-side.
